The first thing you need to understand is that the way you portray your clothes photograph is an attempt to catch the attention of your customer. Before capturing an image, knowing what image will be used that will give you an advantage.
Ask your client, for what they will be using the image. Banner, poster, website, social media, or anything else? Knowing where your clothes photography will be used and who will be seeing the image will help you show the most creative side for the customer.
Another point you shall remember is to make sure you understand the customer.
Know what they like the most about the collection. Which style they prefer? Is the collection targeted to people who can afford expensive clothes or for everyone?
Either ask your client or the customer itself.
Choose right background

The next tip in clothes photography is to choose the perfect background. The motto, customer expectation, and your client will surely tell you how they see the collection . But as creative leverage, you have the power to explode their emotion to a higher level.
For example, if they see a collection that is cheerful, you can add contrasting bright colors in the background. Whereas if they see clothes that are colorful you can use a monochrome or black background to pop out the colors.
Again you can choose any background according to your will where the collection is highlighted. On the eCommerce site especially, the background is usually preferred as wide. But still, you can add natural shadow to enhance the picture.

Fashion is like eating, you shouldn’t stick to the same menu!

Rivaayat is an Indian traditional clothing brand. Indian clothing has been evolving for an extremely long time.Over the years, its inhabitants left clues about Indian customs, Culture, and Fashion through epic sagas such as the Mahabharata and grandiose rock sculptures including the world-famous Ellora caves. Indeed, clothing is as much a part of Indian history as food and religion (or even cricket!).

How is it different from others?

Today we have various options for clothing brands but if we talk about Indian traditional clothes then the options are very few. Indian clothes, styles and culture are different from other countries. So our brand gives you traditional clothes from all over India. Indians love celebrations and we incorporate an element of celebration in our design striking a perfect balance between subtle and statement.

We come up with…

Rivaayat chose eco-friendly suppliers and materials over suppliers that don’t have sustainability a priority. We know what the different types of material do and their environmental impact. We know our sources and work with trusted, transparent and certified suppliers that push sustainability and work towards aggressive goals. We use organic cotton , linen , and pure 100% material for easier recycling and more durable fabrics. We use material that have been naturally dyed without toxic inks and also our outfits are easy to carry and comfortable because the fabric we use are pure.
